AISS Ambassadors that successfully maintain Academic Eligibility and complete Ambassador Requirements will receive a scholarship award.

• Academic Eligibility
• Minimum 3.0 semester & cumulative GPA
• Full-time enrollment (earn at least 12-credit hours)

• Ambassador Requirements
  1. Commit one (1) Full Academic Year (Fall 2026 & Spring 2027)
  2. Attend all In-Person Meetings on Wednesdays from 2:00pm - 3:15pm
  3. Fall 2026 - Each Ambassador is required to:
     • Complete at least one (1) volunteer hour at a minimum of three (3) distinct AISS oureach events
     • Attend one (1) financial aid advisement appointment with AISS
     • Apply to three (3) scholarships
     • Attend one (1) AISS Sucess Series
     • Attend one (1) UNM event (a non-AISS event)
     • Attend one (1) UNM wellness event (a non-AISS event)
     • Complete Fall 2026 Ambassador Survey
  4. Spring 2027 - Each Ambassador is required to:
     • Complete at least one (1) volunteer hour at a minimum of three (3) distinct AISS oureach events
     • Attend one (1) financial aid advisement appointment with AISS
     • Apply to three (3) scholarships
     • Apply for one (1) internship/job or submit an udpated resume to the Coordinators
     • Attend one (1) AISS Sucess Series
     • Attend one (1) UNM event (a non-AISS event)
     • Attend one (1) UNM wellness event (a non-AISS event)
     • Complete the AISS Ambassador Program Capstone
     • Complete Spring 2027 Ambassador Survey

AISS Ambassadors are required to attend all of the following meetings throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Additional details will be shared at the first Ambassador Meeting.
