Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in post-secondary education or high school seniors/recent high school graduates who are pursuing post-secondary education in the criminal justice field. Click to apply.

National Driving and Traffic School is proud to announce their 2024 scholarship opportunity, entitled “In the Driver’s Seat.” The company is seeking to reward essay applicants $3,000 in scholarships- for students entering college or already enrolled in a higher education institution – on the topic of being a safer driver. The Navajo Nation Scholarship Project has provided scholarship opportunities for Navajo Undergraduate and Graduate students with a concentration in Finance, Economics, Accounting and/or Public Administration. Scholarships will be based on academic achievement. The scholarship is intended to supplement any other assistance a student already receives.

Required Documents for the Navajo Investment Committee’s Finance and Accounting Scholarship Project include the following: 1) Completed Application Form, 2) Certification of Indian Blood (Census #), 3) Current Original Transcripts (3.0 Cumulative GPA), 4) Letter of Admission from College of Business with Declared Major 5) Letter of Recommendation from Academic Advisor. The Margo D. Kerrigan Scholar Award is named after the Founder of the American Indian Alaska Native Caucus of the APHA. At the time of her passing, Margo was the Indian Health Service California Area Director. She was a member of the White Earth (Mississippi) Band of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe, was a respected and dedicated leader, and an advocate for AIAN people. As an active member of APHA and the first American Indian to serve on the Executive Board in its 120-year history, she founded APHA’s AIANNH Caucus in 1981. The Caucus honors her achievement and memory by presenting the Margo D. Kerrigan Scholar Award to promising AIANNH students as future public health professionals. Click to apply.

Pauline Armijo “Excellence in Education” Scholarship
Pauline Armijo was the personification of an excellent teacher. She expected excellence in her classroom and demanded excellence in her life. She was loved by her students and by everyone she met and she taught us that learning is lifelong, and includes laughter and love. This scholarship will be awarded to applicants who are pursuing their degrees in the field of education.

Mark Armijo “STEM Support” Scholarship
In 1982 Mark Armijo received his first computer as a gift from his parents. Throughout the rest of his life, science and technology played a major role. After becoming a husband and a father, and working many jobs at innovative companies like Intel, he returned to school and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 2004. Along with his passion for the STEM fields, Mark knew that education was key to a successful future. We award this scholarship in Mark’s honor to those seeking to further their education in the fields that meant so much to him.
