One-Quarter (1/4) enrolled member of a Federally Recognized Native American Tribe. Undergraduate student with no more than 150 semester credits or 210 quarter credits. The Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists (SIPES) Foundation has awarded scholarships to 277 outstanding earth science and engineering students since it was founded in 1981. Applications are accepted each year from upper-division and graduate students majoring in any earth science, geophysics, petroleum or geological engineering who are attending a U.S.-based university or college, have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and are U.S. Citizens.
