The Calista Education and Culture, Inc. (CECI) Scholarship is funded by donations and fundraising through CECI. The scholarship program was established in 1994. CECI is an Alaska non-profit corporation, recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and donors are eligible to receive tax deductible status on donations and gifts

Even so, we recognize that college costs can be a significant burden for many students and their families. The KuuKuupa In Memoriam Endowed Fund was established to assist Native students who are facing financial hardships and challenges by providing them with a one-time relief award. The fund provides emergency support scholarships directly to students in need of assistance for emergency situations that includes, but is not limited to, food insecurity, emergency housing and utility costs, educational technology or technology-related resources, or other difficult choices that will benefit the student and their families in the hopes that some of those needs can be met. The Kelly Law Team is delighted to announce that it will be sponsoring a contest for the award of an educational scholarship. This aspect of the firm’s involvement with the community has been ongoing since 2015, and for the fifth time the scholarship will be awarded to a person diagnosed with autism (also known as autism spectrum disorder, or ASD). The scholarship is in the amount of $1,000, and it will be made as a direct payment  toward the winning applicant’s tuition at a post-secondary educational institution.
